Anthony Kim Up First for Kuchar at Match Play

Anthony Kim, currently the 28th ranked player in the world, will be Matt Kuchar’s first round opponent in the World Golf championship-Accenture Match Play Championship. Kuchar, who is ranked 43rd in the world and currently sits in 8th place on the FedEx Cup Points List, will make his first appearance at the event which pits the top 64 players in the world in a match play format.
Kuchar has had tremendous success in match play in the past, most notably winning the 2007 US Amateur.
The duo will tee off at the Ritz Carlton Golf Club (Dove Mountain)in Marana, AZ at 9:39 am MST. If Kuchar advances to the second round, he will play the winner of the Padraig Harrington vs. Jeev Milkha Singh match tomorrow.
